Indian team got out on the score of 191, England also lost three wickets for 53 runs

The Indian batsmen flopped once again but Umesh Yadav’s wicket of Joe Root kept him alive in the fourth Test of the ongoing series when he was dismissed for 21. In reply to India’s 191 in the first innings, England went to stumps at 53/3. They are trailing by 138 runs and have seven wickets in hand.
India managed to reach close to 200 thanks to fifties from Virat Kohli and Shardul Thakur. At 127/7, it looked like England would bowl India out at 150.

However, the medium pace bowling all-rounder Thakur played audaciously to score 57 runs off 36 balls to give the overall some complacency.
India lost three wickets in each of the first two sessions. Although he lost four wickets in the previous season, he managed to take three wickets. Chris Woakes took four wickets for England.
