It could be a case that it is too late but SunRisers Hyderabad made a strong statement on Monday when they beat the Rajasthan Royals in their second win of the season. Opener Jason Roy, who played his first franchise game after waiting patiently on the sidelines, was the star of the game as he scored 60 runs in just 42 games that chased the power of 165 runs.
What should have been most inspiring to see SRH fans and drummers could be the way captain Kane Williamson remained unbeaten until the end until he finished the game at the young company of Abhishek Sharma.

The duo have put together a 48-match unbeaten streak to take their team home. Williamson was unbeaten in 51 when Sharma finished the game with his boat with a 16-ball knock of 21 runs. Speaking about his time between Williamson, Abhishek Sharma revealed how the captain gave him confidence to finish the game.
“I think it was a great opportunity for me. I was waiting for my chance and I wanted to contribute to my team. I feel good that this is our first win in Dubai. All my time in the net I was planning to play an innings like this.”
“Williamson is a great captain. He has always given me confidence and has always told me that I can finish the game on my own,” he added.
Earlier Sanju Samson played 82 hits as the Rajasthan Royals posted 164/5 in the 20 overs set. At SRH, Siddharth Kaul also came back with two wickets..
