  • With four wins in IPL 2020 so far, Knight Riders are currently placed at the 4th spot in the points table.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) is one such side which looks brilliant on paper. They have an excellent combination of youth and experience. The likes of Eoin Morgan, Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Pat Cummins and Dinesh Karthik are well-known customers in the shortest format.

At the same time, players like Shubman Gill, Shivam Mavi, Tom Banton, Prasidh Krishna, Varun Chakravarthy and Kamlesh Nagarkoti are ambitious youngsters, who want to prove their worth at any cost.

KKR are currently positioned at the fourth spot in the standings with three defeats and four victories. They lost their last game against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by a massive margin of 82 runs.

With 254 runs in seven matches, KKR opener Gill is their highest run-scorer, while all-rounder Dre Russ with 6 wickets is their leading wicket-taker in the tournament.

Meanwhile, the mid-season transfer window process has begun from Tuesday (October 13). All franchises have played seven matches each and as per the new norms, teams can now trade their unused capped or uncapped players.

The rules also suggest that only those players are eligible for transfer who haven’t featured in more than two games till now.
